This year the North Coastal Council had 106 entries across all 6 categories and has selected 36 entries to advance to the Ninth District Level. The Ninth District covers all PTAs throughout San Diego and Imperial Counties. Congratulations to the 4 entries from Diegueno that were selected to advance to this next level!

Red Ribbon Week was a great success!
The Nation's Largest & Longest-Running Drug-Use Prevention Campaign
We hope that this anti-drug, anti-vaping and anti-alcohol campaign will continue with you at home every chance you get. A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who participated.

Wednesday: E-Bike Safety, CSI Crime Scene Investigates Diegueño
In 2013, Alex had a major brain injury from a skateboard accident in front of his home in Carmel Valley. In speaking with trauma injury professionals, traumatic brain injury from E-bikes is now the primary concern in children ages 12-19. E-bike crashes is on the rise and expected to dramatically increase in the future. Please see attachment.

Avoid drugs and alcohol with a Natural High. Alarmingly, marijuana and suicides are now being linked. In face, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner, 39% of completed suicides under the age of 25, tested positive for marijuana in 2020. Please click here for more information.
